Morito Chocolates is based in Brooklyn and proudly Latina-owned. Founder Pricilla Terrero set out to bring something different to the sweets market: a vegan, organic, gluten-free chocolate stick produced in small batches. She places this same mindfulness when sourcing ingredients as well, opting for the most direct sourcing possible so money goes directly to farmers. Morito current gets their cacao from Oko-Caribe, a co-op located in the village of Pimentel in San Francisco de Macoris in the Dominican Republic.
