Store Closing
The exact date is dependent on our inventory, but we will fully wind down the shop by the end of 2025.
We contacted all individuals with gift card balances in February 2025 to encourage them to utilize any remaining funds. If you have a gift card, please utilize it as soon as possible to ensure you can redeem the value before our online shop closes ahead of the end of 2025. If you need further assistance or would like to discuss a refund for your balance, please contact us.
We closed the doors to our brick-and-mortar location on February 23, 2025. Thank you to everyone who visited, shopped, and supported during our year in the North Loop. You made it an incredibly special chapter for Story & Teller.
Yes, we still looking for a new home for the cashwrap, display table, and stool from our North Loop storefront. Please contact us directly if you are interested in purchasing them for your business or home.

Orders & Shipping
We accept Visa, Mastercard, AmEx, Discover, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
We are happy to offer $7.50 flat rate standard shipping on most orders. Some exclusions apply due to the higher cost to ship, including oversized and heavy items, such as marble bowls or wooden cutting boards. Your eligible rate will appear at checkout, at which point you can select if you would like to modify it to Express shipping.

Yes! We are offering local pick up to those in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area to make it even more convenient to take home some final Story & Teller pieces before we close the shop for good. Pick up is in Golden Valley and is ready within 2-3 days.
We currently only ship to customers within the United States (including Alaska and Hawaii). If you are an international customer, we encourage you to follow our Instagram as we hope to expand our coverage in the future.
We aim to have orders ready for to ship the following business day, pending item availability and payment verification. We ask for your patience in times when it may take 2-3 days.
Shipping times vary by carrier and mailing address. If your order is urgent, please call us at 612-504-0220.
If you entered the incorrect shipping address for your order, please contact us immediately to provide the correct information. We will do our best to accommodate the change, as long as you have reached out prior to receiving the shipping confirmation email. If your order has already shipped, please contact the shipping carrier for further assistance in having it marked as "return to sender." Any incremental shipping costs to re-send your order after it is returned to us are your sole responsibility and must be paid prior to us reshipping your package.
Returns & Delivery Issues
Please note that our return policy has changed and all orders are final sale as of August 2025 due to the winding down of the business. If you have any questions before ordering to ensure an item is the perfect fit for your home or recipient, don't hesitate to reach out!
We carefully inspect and package each order to ensure it arrives safely to you. Once Story & Teller has delivered the merchandise to the mail carrier, you will assume the risk of loss and title for the merchandise. We are not responsible for damaged, lost, misplaced, or stolen packages, and we ask that you please contact the logistics company indicated in your shipping confirmation email to remedy the situation should one of these issues arise.
We carefully inspect and package each order to ensure it arrives safely to you, but appreciate your patience in the event that an error was made. Please check your order upon delivery and contact us within 48 hours if an item is missing or incorrect so that we can remedy the situation.
Products
Due to the handmade and small-batch production methods used to create our collection, slight variations in color, texture, shape, size, and finish are to be expected and celebrated.
We provide care instructions on each product page whenever relevant to help you prolong the life of your new purchase. If your product is no longer available, please contact us and we will do our best to retrieve this information.
Due to the winding down of our business, we are no longer selling new gift cards. Existing gift cards are still available to be used for purchases, and we encourage you to do so soon to get something you love.
No, your gift card value does not expire. We do recommend using your gift card balance soon as we are winding down our business and have limited inventory remaining.

Click here and enter the email address you want to use for your account. You will receive a 6-digit verification code to that email address. Copy the code and paste it into the browser tab where you entered your email address to activate your account. You are now set up with an S&T account and can login using that same email address to view orders, request returns, and save information for easier shopping.

Whenever you want to login, you simply enter the email address for your account and enter the 6-digit code from the verification email that is sent to you. This keeps your account secure and spares you from the hassle of password resets [we've been there, too].
