MAAARI launched in 2016 as a dream of modern design rooted in consciousness and inspired by Philippine culture. As two Filipina-American women, founders Ivy Ocampo and Jeanette Sawyer continue to honor their roots and reimagine age-old traditions with the brand name as their guiding force: MAAARI (ma’a’a•ri’) in Tagalog means “what is possible” and “can be done.” Together through positive partnerships, they modernize ancestral artistry for function and style today.
