2024 officially kicked off with a bang last Friday: Story & Teller was featured on KSTP's Minnesota Live news show!

"Me again :)"
How did this come about, you may ask? Well, I received an email with a fun subject line from the Style Editor from MSP Mag, Madeline Nachbar, after she was invited onto the show to do a segment about new stores she is excited about in 2024. She'd thought of Story & Teller and asked if I was interested in providing some products to feature amongst some other local emerging brands. It was a no-brainer.
Less than 24 hours later and I'd confirmed, packaged up some of my favorite pieces, and delivered them to the news station. Needless to say, I was excited. Fast-forward to the morning of the show, and I received a call from my Grandma as I was preparing my morning coffee at 7:15 AM. She was alerting me that the segment didn't air, and wanted to know if she had the right channel.
It turns out, she'd written down 7 AM, instead of the correct 9 AM. I assured her to rest easy and stay tuned.
When the show finally aired (on schedule), I was so giddy, I couldn't sit still. As soon as I saw Madeline on the screen, I pulled out my phone to capture the segment for my parents who were in Utah for the weekend. I was so wired with excitement that the whole thing is shaky. Not only were we spotlighted amongst some other inspiring local retailers, but Madeline did a phenomenal job of sharing our vision and products.
It truly was a dream come true and only further fueled my excitement for our storefront to open.
